D' Enghien was extended to an 18 hole championship course 2 years ago by Bruno Steensels who has also designed the first nine holes in 1992. With the completion of the new holes this is a really nice course in the Brussels ares. Next to the big course there is also a nine hole par 3 course in the forest, currently those holes are being renovated as well. The parking is next to some big buildings and the driving range, the clubhouse is very cosy on a hill off the 9th green. From the new holes I really likes the par 5 fifteenth with a beautiful water hazard followed by a par 3 over the same water, great design. The 17th green was a bit close to a ditch (at the back of the green) where both me and my playing partner lost a ball. For the time of year and the relative newness of the course it was in good shape, looking forward coming back here and playing it in championship conditions.
