FatimaSapphireViajes review

Designed in 2005 by Rees Jones and Seve Ballesteros. Fields and countryside around the headquarters of the third largest bank in Europe, located 25 minutes away from downtown Madrid, got a massive upgrade after the construction of this world class golf course. Great facilities: Jim McLean’s Academy; consideres #1 in the world at the moment. The academy is lead by Sr. Angel Matayana, who is originally from Real Club de Golf de Pedreña (up north of Spain). They have the latest technology and a great pro-shop. Huge, modern and lovely locker rooms. Nice terrace and spacious restaurant to enjoy breakfast and lunch. (Prices are ridiculously great since the Private course welcomes Bank’s employees, share-holders, and golf enthusiasts). Features of the course: It could play extremely long, since Golf Santander is 7500 yards long from the back. The course is quite wide open, with a few low trees and strategically bunkers placed throughout the holes. Quite entertaining! There is a bit of everything; from a peninsula par 3 green (#6), to a 620m long par 5 (#12). Some greens are elevated. It is usually in great shape and has hosted many professional events. Next professional event? : Spanish Nationals, Santander Tour for professionals, played on December right after the Spanish Open. It was originally going to be played at RCG Pedreña in November, but due to weather the Championship was postponed and Golf Santander will welcome our tour women and girls. Google maps: The access could be a little bit confusing, but the main entrance will give you the right directions making it easy and accessible for you. There are overall not a lot of signs. Which could make it tricky for the first timer visitor - so give yourself some extra time to settle in! They count with golf carts, electric trolleys and even the latest technology of golf boards! Quite fun to try - give it a go! Do not forget your ID since security plays of course a special role at this stunning venue.
