Golf Río Real

Inaugurated in 1965, designed by Javier Arana, this magnificent 18-hole par 72 golf course is set in a beautiful sloping valley with challenging greens. El Club de Golf Rio Real is in a superb location, just 3 km from Marbella city centre. It is built on terrain which slopes gently down to the sea, so many of the holes provide magnificent views of the Mediterranean. The course crosses four times the river which gives the Club and the Hotel their name. In general the greens are quite flat, very well maintained and protected by the surrounding bunkers. The 4th is especially worth mentioning due to its fairway which runs down towards the beach. The spectacular tee of the 11th gives you have a great view down onto the green which is situated on the other side of the river.More
