Tee times
This course will hold the Spanish Open on April 2018. The Championship was supposed to be played at RSHECC but the final decision chose this facility, where the national team trains weekly. Here is where many great golfers such as Jon Rahm, Harang Lee, Noemi Jimenez, and many others who nowadays compete at the PGA, LPGA, Symetra or LET Tours used to practice daily after school. The clubhouse also holds the headquarters of the Spanish National Federation. The range is quite big since it has two floors. There is a little putting green by the first tee, and a convenient chipping area across the range, all the way at the end. That area only gives private access to the National Team or Private lessons. In my opinion, the second 9 are a bit more interesting since the front nine is more straight forward. The course has stunning views to the capital city, and the 4 towers are seen from almost every hole. The club house is quite new and their kitchen is excellent. The last 3 holes are a great challenge to finish any competition at, since there is some water hazard in play in the three of them. 16th hole is the most symbolic hole of the course, since it’s a beautiful or 5 dogleg-left, in which the lateral hazard plays a strategical role under pressure. Do not underestimate the course by the graffitis drawn on the wall that marks the out of bounds on the 15th hole. Quite a nice field to play at and the pro-shop definitely deserves a visit since it is quite modern.
