It is famous for its stone wall encircling the estate and the castle of the seventeenth century.
The terrace and the restaurant have been settled into the old stables of the estate. The castle and the estate were owned by the Vion family between 1583 and the beginning of the 20th century.
Located 40 minutes west of Paris, the Château de la Chouette golf course, designed by the American architect Robert Trent Jones, fits perfectly into the exceptional site of the French Vexin.

Le parcours est sensationnel, pas trop long mais avec des dénivelés, de l'eau très présente sur certains trous, de la forêt,... C'est compliqué à jouer, assez fatigant (l'enchainement du 9 et du 10), mais quel plaisir. Attention aux bunkers, qui sont assez pénalisant. Mon parcours préféré jusqu’à présent. Parcours difficile et sportif car vallonné et beaucoup d’eau donc galère pour le débutant que j’étais mais le cadre et la beauté du parcours valent largement le détour. A refaire avec un meilleur niveau :).
