About Golf De Fontainebleau
Inaugurated in 1909, the Fontainebleau golf course is one of the oldest in France.
Golf De Fontainebleau was created by Frenchman Julien CHANTEPIE, redesigned in 1920 by Tom SIMPSON, alongated and modified by Fred HAWTREE. It is located in the Fontainebleau forest, near the town, on the ancient imperial hunting grounds.
Due to its sandy ground, the ground is soft and is perfectly playable at any moment however bad the weather conditions may be.

Parcours exceptionnel à tous points de vue, le site en forêt de Fontainebleau, le sol sablonneux, l'architecte Tom Simpson, l'entretien et la gestion du club, le club house etc... Selon moi le plus beau parcours de la région parisienne avec Mortfontaine. Certains trous avec des rochers sont uniques.

Magnifique parcours. Rien à redire si ce n’est qq pierres dans les bunkers.
Superbes greens, points de vue de toute beauté. Il faut absolument le jouer et en plus il est parfaitement jouable. Du bonheur à l’état pur.

Un grand moment de golf hors du temps. Ce parcours respire l'authenticité et l'histoire du golf. C'est un endroit merveilleux, calme, reposant même si le parcours ne vous laissera pas scorer facilement, en particulier grâce à ses très nombreux bunkers et aux pentes de ses greens.
