Close to the Spanish border and Bayonne / Biarritz in France, the Seignosse golf course was elected best golf course in France by English operators and 15th European golf course by the magazine "Golf World".
The 18-hole course of the Seignosse golf club was designed by the American architect Robert Van Hagge. Known by many players, it has a unique layout. In fact, the course of the Seignosse golf course has a undulating course that reveals a wild nature, a mixture of pine trees from the Landes and cork oaks decorated with water obstacles, for a varied exercise suitable to seduce all players.

Mooie golfbaan in heuvelachtig gebied. Zwaar te lopen maar dat maakt de baan uitdagend. Baan is goed onderhouden greens zijn snel. Afstand tussen holes is lang maar goed aangegeven. Buggy is wel raadzaam. kleedruimtes en douches zijn uitstekend als ook het clubhuis voor de nazit.
Greenfee is stuk duurder dan online aangegeven (ook eigen website klopt niet).

I don't even know where to start but I have never played such a nice golf course in such bad condition... what a shame! I rarely criticize much but this was really almost unacceptable. I can't even remember if I play any public course in such bad condition. There was absolutely nothing good about this course considering the maintenance... tee boxes were terrible, so soft …

I made reservation by internet (via Book And Golf). At the reception they said they didn't know anything about that, and because I didn't have a booking confirmation with me, they charged me another greenfee. I wrote a few mails and the problem was rectified a day later. I learnt from this to always bring your confirmation print with you or not pay in advance.
