ZigaStajner review

I have played this course recently and must say that I was pleasantly surprised by it. The facilities are really above the standard I was expecting and infinity better then the ones at the Balaton Golf Course, the second one I played in Hungary. The clubhouse is beautifully made and positioned next to an artificial lake, the terrace seams to go into it, very nice. The services was on an acceptable level, like the quality of food and drinks. The pro shop is relatively small but offers all you might require for a round of golf. I stayed in the resort and must say that the price/quality they provide is excellent, the rooms are nice and big, well build and clean. I actually like the style they are decorated in very much! Highly recommend a stay at one of them! The course itself has an interesting layout with water coming into play on a large number of holes, I like that a lot! It is not a particularly difficult course to play, also, not a very long one, but it does offer a few challenges in the form of water and sand hazards. In any case, it is a very "driver" friendly course, you can hammer it on most par4 and par5 holes, without being penalised to hard for not being accurate, that is, if you dont find water, and there is a lot of it to be found. I also liked the position of the par 3 holes on the back nine, striking the ball over a lake is always fun! The course was well maintained, no major flaws on the greens, fairways or tee boxes! All in all, a great experience that I would gladly repeat.
