The course was opened in 1976 with 9 holes, designed by Burlatti. Later the architect Croze completed it to obtain the current 18 holes.
The Croara Country Club on one side is bordered by the river Trebbia, from which the valley takes its name, and on the other, by an immense secular oak forest, presenting panoramic views of rare beauty: the Castle of Rivalta and the opening on the valley are its main testimonies.
