The great South African champion skillfully made the most of the natural Valtenesi contours. He wanted the greens protected by round, sometimes crater-like bunkers. This course will bring out the best in experienced golfers and enchant beginners, in a landscape of rare natural beauty.

Last August I played the 18 holes of the Jack Nicklaus II course. Some Italian golfers told me the 9 holes course, designed by Gary Player, is among the best 9 holes courses in Italy. Better kept than Gardagolf. Greens are soft and green, fairways a bit soggy. Challenging holes (520m par5).
Great luxury enclave which should be combined with some days in Gargnano to not miss the Gardalake.
Hotel and restaurant have improved much since 2017.

Op advies van mijn golfpro Helmuth van Heel zou ik deze baan maar eens tijdens mijn vakantie moeten spelen.
