From the well maintained gardens and very polite and helpful security guard on the main gate to the large, clean car park and superb maintained clubhouse the General Impression deserved a 10. As Greens Chairman for 6 years I notice the subtle and finer points that most golf courses overlook such as litter and shrubs that are in need of manicure, buildings that are in need of maintenance etc etc. Everything here was pristine. A rarity indeed. The golf course design was superb. Every hole is memorable and still remember each hole even after playing 6 courses since. After Monte Rei it is my favourite after 45 years of playing at a high level. 3. Parking is plentiful and spaces wide. There is a separate ADULT's club with pool and changing facilities plus many many padel courts and tennis courts. There is a CHILDREN’s club with pool and play area and activities for use of members and visitors. There are 2 huge putting greens, one next to the first tee. There is a large chipping area and driving range. The caddy master speaks many languages and has pull trollies, electric Powakaddys and buggies for hire. Locker rooms have everything you would ever need. As a former greens chairman as mentioned before I took note of the maintenance of the course as I played. The definition was superb, the greens well manicured (hand cut) and all areas beautifully cut and maintained. I couldn’t fault it in any area. The clubhouse was built in 2009, it has a Spanish feel. It has a friendly feel with a beautiful wrap around balcony. Spacious dining room split into 2 with cafe type dining and a separate fine dining part. The prices were very reasonable and the food we sampled was very good. From the moment you arrive at either the office or security office you are welcomed with a smile and a warm welcome. This carries on to the professional, the caddy master, the restaurant staff and members. We were put with 2 members, Juan and Manuel who made our round extra special but left after 15 holes to be replaced with 2 young boys who introduced themselves to us with a smile and a handshake - beautiful manners. When dropping off our Powakaddys we were again met with a smile and a joke and a lovely farewell. Faultless hospitality Although surrounded by greenery it had quite a few houses on the outskirts and a large metal water pipe which stretched along 2-3 holes against the boundary wall which detracted a little from the scenery.
