About Empordà Golf Resort
The most beautiful 36 holes of costa brava!
The Empordà Golf Resort enjoys a privileged location in Catalonia, just thirty minutes from Girona and its airport, and fifteen minutes from the best beaches on the Costa Brava.
The course at Empordà Golf consists of 36 holes divided between two 18-hole rounds: Links and Forest. It was designed by Robert Von Hagge who successfully integrated a links-style area with large lakes, dunes and extensive bunkers into a Mediterranean landscape, to give us dense and well maintained pinewoods and wide fairways. He was aided in this task by the exceptional beauty of the natural surroundings in the Baix Empordà, in the very heart of the Costa Brava. The course was permanent host for the PGA Pre-Qualifying School II European Tour, and has hosted the Final of the PGA Qualifying School European Tour.

We werden keurig ontvangen. Bij de eerste tee bleek dat er drie vierballen voor ons zaten. De caddymaster stelde voor om ons naar hole vier te brengen en dan op drie te eindigen. Dat noemen we meedenken. De Forest prachtige bosbaan. Greens, fairways en tees lagen er keurig bij, maar de bunkers zijn een soort grindbak. Veel fijne steentjes erin en goed nat gehouden dus nie…

Een super mooie golfbaan met 36 holes. Op advies van onze pro gingen ik en mijn vader deze baan spelen in onze vakantie. Het er was nagenoeg uitgestorven, er was niemand en we hadden de baan voor ons alleen. De golfbaan lag er super bij en vooral hole 14 was perfect. Het is een par 3 van 154 meter. En daar speelde ik voor het eerst in mijn leven de perfecte hole, want bet…

Pour l’Emporda links, il s’agit d’un vrai links lorsque le vent souffle (souvent en après-midi). Très challenging le parcours s’étend entre lac et dunes. Partout des bunkers défendant bien les greens particulièrement pour le Par 3 du trou 6. Seul bémol, nous y avons joué en avril dernier et l’entretien des fairways qui en temps normal est parfait avait souffert d’un hiver…
