stuart.colley review of Club de Golf Retamares

i think the hospitality at the clubhouse could be improved - when i first arrived at the clubhouse i walked around the building through the function rooms and hotel before i found the locker rooms and pro=shop. Nobody came up and asked if they could help me. The bar-staff could be more friendly. I love the course and as a 8 handicapper i think its very challenging but fair and rewards good golf. It has always been in excellent condition the 2 times i have played. The only improvement i would make would be to better indicate the Out of Bounds on the par 5 7th - i was very disapointed to slightly pull my drive there and discover i was OB. I think there is another internal OB but i cant remember which hole. The clubhouse has a lovely terrace and the views of the Sierra on the course are fantastic!
