About Mar Menor
Play the Jack Nicklaus trail!
The first nine holes were designed by Dave Thomas, par 37, 3275 meters; they require good strokes to place the ball in the streets and the greens are protected by bunkers and lakes. The last nine holes were designed by Nicklaus Design, par 35, 2878 meters with wide streets; in the last 9 you will find a great diversity of designs. A special mention must be made to our own "amen corner", a spectacular lake around the holes 13, 14 and 15, made to overcome the biggest obstacle of water. The rest of the holes are strategically protected by bunkers. If you decide to play in this field designed by two of the best golf designers, you will enjoy two different experiences in the same golf course. Magnificent practice facilities in Mar Menor Golf that compliment the Golf Course.

Great service and well kept course. Clubhouse/ hotel and bar is very close to buggy pick up and driving range. Nice environment surrounding the fairways.
Toilets (2) along the cart path.
Buggy was not really needed since you could not drive on all fairways so there was a lot of walking back and forth to the cart. Also the service cart hade very little to offer. Only cok…

Een golfbaan tussen de villa’s door. Fairways soms wat kale plekjes maar top greens. Witte gele en rode teeboxen soms wat kaal door het vele bespelen vd baan.
Veel korte par 4 die bij de green pas moeilijk worden door de vele bunkers. Een Jack N. signature. Hole 19 is aan het zwembad vh naastgelegen hotel met goede kaart. Balie medewerkers erg vriendelijk en caddymaster …

I found this course a little bit unusual. The course itself was in a good condition but it felt like 2 totally different 9's... this could be due to the fact that it is nestled amongst an complex and i am not used to playing these style of course
There was some nice quirky holes which needed caution and the fact that we researched them before playing made a big difference…
