What a beauty... Great parkland golf course near lake Lugano. Similar to Ascona with proper "old school" tree lined layout where every club in the bag comes in play. Some very beautiful and challenging holes - number 2 par 5 is a beast. Not too long but nice par 3 holes. Holes 5,6,8,10,12,13 and 18 were my favorite. The area obviously had some problems with rain as some areas were quite wet. The greens were net very fast but okay. Unfortunately fairways are full of weed grass here too. This doesn't not affect the play but the course would be even better with good looking fairways. Nice clubhouse and decent pro-shop. If you love old parkland golf courses this one is a must play if you are in the area.
