About Golf Club Montreux
Since its opening on 27 September 1900 by the Club Anglais, Golf Club Montreux has not ceased to expand. Today, it has 500 members and 50 juniors.
Protected by the surrounding mountains and out of reach of the mists of Lake Geneva, the golf course lies at the centre of an unusually mild microclimate. These weather conditions mean it can remain open all year round.
Golf Club Montreux belongs to an elite circle of owner clubs. It has owned all of its practice facilities since the year 2000, notably a driving range, an indoor putting carpet, a Pro Shop and a Club House with a fine food restaurant. The patio offers spectacular views of the whole site.
Visitors are welcome. Beginners or experienced golfers, juniors, ladies or seniors, Golf Club Montreux opens its doors to everyone. We have instructors at your disposal for you to learn to play golf or improve your handicap.

Ruhig gelegener Golfplatz im Tal. Bei vielen Spielbahnen kommen Bäume ins Spiel. Absolut flacht, dadurch zum Teil etwas monoton.

Der Golf Club Montreux wurde 1900 gegründet und wartet mit eine typischen altehrwürdiger Parkland Charakter auf. Wurde vor ein paar Jahren Teilmodernisiert, bietet nicht allzuviel Abwechslung, ist aber dennoch gerade für mittlere und höhere Handicapper sehr angenehm zu spielen. Dieser Platz ist dank seinem Klima fast das ganze Jahr bespielbar (im Winter mit Sommergreens und normalen Abschlägen o. Matten). Nicht sehr anspruchsvoll. Flacher Parcours mit sehr vielen altem Baumbestand. Jedoch auch hier sei gut überlegt welche Taktik man anwendet. Restaurant betreffend Freundlichkeit noch ausbaufähig. Sekretariat jedoch freundliche Bedienung.
