Drenthse Golf Club "De Gelpenberg" founded in 1970 , is the oldest golfclub in Drenthe . The club is well known for it's harmonious and active club life.
De Gelpenberg offers fantastic facilities within the clubhouse. These include a restaurant, bar, terrace, specious changing accommodation, conference rooms and a golf shop.
The course, the clubhouse and the golf school make this the ideal location to organize your corporate days, golf events and clinics.

Drentse Golfclub "De Gelpenberg" is een traditionele ledenclub, maar wel één
waar gasten meer dan welkom zijn. Een gastvrije ontvangst van zowel leden als greenfeespelers is een belangrijk kenmerk van onze vereniging, waarin vele commissies zeer actief zijn. De Gelpenberg heeft een aantal verschillende lidmaatschappen.
Een lidmaatschap kan iedere maand ingaan, maar kan alleen aan het einde van een verenigingsjaar worden beëindigd.

Voor de tweede x op deze baan gespeeld. Het is een van de mooiste banen waar ik op gespeeld heb. Baan lag er gegeven de tijd van het jaar prima bij. Natuurlijk zijn er opmerkingen te maken maar de baan is uitdagend en afwisselend.
Personeel van zowel de horeca als bij de receptie is klantvriendelijk.
Clubhuis wordt verbouwd.

zeer mooie course, een van de mooiste in de Be-Ne. Supervriendelijke ontcvangst, eten in clubhouse was zeer goed. De greens, fairways en alle andere zeer goed onderhouden, totaal geen wachttijden, is extra prettig spelen.

Oei, met 34 graden op de thermometer de baan in. We lijken wel gek! Dat is heet! Maar er zijn meer mensen op de Gelpenberg die de clubs ter hand nemen dus we zetten door. Hierdoor hebben we de vele schaduwrijke plekjes, dankzij de bomen, zeer weten te waarderen. Een fraaie baan. Niet makkelijk door de vele bomen. Wel wat aan de vlakke kant (ik ben dol op glooing) en hier …
