About Golfclub Amsterdam Old Course
Amsterdam Old Course, only 4 miles from the centre of Amsterdam, was opened in 1935. It is one of the oldest golf courses in the Netherlands and one of the eight Colt, Alison & Morisson designs in the country. The classic course is completely restored in the years 2012-2018. The club welcomes visitors to enjoy the classic 9-hole par-72 course and the wonderful thatched-roof clubhouse, built in 1934.

Aangenaam verrast op de AOC. Natuurlijk is alles wat ouder maar zeker het clubhuis krijgt zo veel charme.
Bovendien staat er gezellig personeel dus de bediening was prima (het eten natuurlijk ook).
Maar de beste verrassing waren toch wel de greens, deze lagen er perfect bij (zeker voor de tijd van het jaar).
Al met al een fijne dag gehad.

Gastvrijheid was zeer vriendelijk. Greens top. Clubhuis sfeervol. De baan kan ik niet positief over zijn. Je kan er golfen maar het is mijn inziens geen echte golfbaan. Personeel en zeer gastvrije leden allemaal erg vriendelijk maar ik zou hier niet heen gaan om lekker een dagje te gaan golfen.

Great course to belong to as it is relatively low cost and NO TEE TIMES. So convenient for those who don't want to have to book in advance. Course is deceptively difficult and challenging. Great competitions etc and the staff is lovely. Designing a course with the last hole as the hardest isn't the best idea, though. You often leave frustrated instead of exhilarated.
