About Kennemer Golf & Country Club
The oldest linkscourse in the Netherlands
The Kennemer Golf & Country Club is the oldest linkscourse in the Netherlands (founded in 1910) and often named amongst the most beautiful courses in the world. The course is located just behind the sea in undulating dunes and consists of three sets of nine holes, namely the A-holes (Van Hengel course), the B-holes (the Pennink course) and the C-holes (the Colt course). The courses are named after former executive and honorary member Mr. SJH van Hengel and golf architects Frank Pennink and Harry Colt. The various combinations are all pretty tough and require accuracy.

Schitterende duinbaan met prachtige fairways en greens. En zoals het hoort lastige rough. Enige minpunt, waar ze niets aan kunnen doen, is de omgeving met veel flats en de spoorlijn er omheen. Maakt de sfeer minder dan Haagsche en Noordwijkse.

Met recht een van de topbanen van Nederland. Prachtige lay out en zeer goede conditie. Clubhuis is op leeftijd maar wel stijlvol.

Dit is wat men noemt een topclub ofwel een golfbaan met allure.
Niets meer aan doen gewoon zo houden, ik kom hier graag nog eens terug.
