Documentary evidence proves that golf was played on Musselburgh Links as early as 2 March 1672 making it world's oldest golf course in the world.

The oldest golf course in the world! You can’t get any better than that!
Even though it’s only 9 holes, I was in awe of everything I saw. From the rough fairways to the decent greens, all around the middle of a racetrack! I just found it absolutely incredible! I had so much fun playing the course and we were lucky enough to get a tee time when we turned up!
