Hattemse Golf & Country Club

The Hattemse Golf & Country Club is situated in the woodland surrounding the charming Hanseatic town of Hattem. The deceptively challenging 9-hole course consists of both wooded and parkland holes, partly following the undulating sand ridges formed during the Ice Age. The Hattemse dates from 1930 and is one of the original sixteen courses designed before the Second World War. A number of trees lining the holes are even older and add to the mature nature of the course. The cosy clubhouse, built by architect Van der Veen, awaits the golfer after an enjoyable round; the large fireplace is the centrepiece of the welcoming club room that excudes a period charm with an authentic golfing atmosphere. The members look forward to welcoming all golfers with a 54 handicap or lower and with a GVB or letter from their home course. Registration beforehand is desirable but the course is usually an oasis of rest and tee-times are therefore an unnecessary formality.Mehr
