Wat een heerlijke baan is Heelsum toch. Het was inmiddels flink wat jaren geleden dat ik er voor het laatst speelde, maar in mijn herinnering was het al goed. Eigenlijk werden mijn verwachtingen zelfs overtroffen. De baan is uitdagend, attractief en qua onderhoud uitstekend. Er zit flink wat variatie in de holes en tacktisch spelen is hier een must. Eindelijk weer eens een rondje gespeeld op Waterland. De baan lag er goed bij en het was flink druk. Na een makkelijk begin met holes waar je prima kunt scoren komen er een aantal holes langs de dijk waar het serieus moeilijk wordt (voor mij dan in ieder geval!). Na afloop een uitstekend sate'tje gegeten in het altijd gezellig clubhuis.

Tespelduyn is een leuke baan waar golfers van alle niveau’s een leuke dag kunnen hebben. De baan bestaat uit een aantal par-3 holes, een paar par-4 en er is een par-5. Een deel van de baan ligt boven op een terp waardoor je geweldige uitzichten hebt over de omringende bloembollenvelden. Zeker in deze maanden ziet dat er zeer fraai uit. Played here together with the whole team of Leadingcourses for our Christmas outing. We stayed in their golf lodge which is right next to the first tee of the Red Course. The lodge is simple, but meets all the requirements a golfer has. The interior is basic, but is has good beds, a great shower and golf on TV! Bernardus is a new course in The Netherlands and they don't do memberships. Well... actually they do, but you can only become member for a day. Interesting concept and it would be great if this takes off. You might find the € 150,- the day membership costs a bit much, but you do get a lot for that. Second time I played here, but my first time only nine holes were open. This time much more was finished, including the clubhouse, which is impressive. We only had time to play nine holes and unfortunately (for me) we played quite a lot of holes that I had played before. I played both the Azul (blue) and Open courses of El Prat - which are Greg Norman designed - and I enjoyed both of them. Our tee time at Eichenheim was so early that there was nobody at the club yet, so we could just go ahead and start ourselves. Luckily my playing partner has a family member who is a member at Eichenheim and she told us that the front nine was impossible to walk. Golfpark Mieminger Plateau is conveniently located, only 35 minutes from Innsbruck airport. Imposing mountains are all around you at this pine tree lined course. The mountains are so close and so steep that you almost get the idea that where the course stops, the mountains start. As the winter season had just ended, Golfclub Zell am See Kaprun had only opened for the summer season a couple of days before I played there. In wintertime when there is enough snow, they have a cross-country skiing circuit here! The first thing that I noticed when I arrived at Gut Altentann was that it’s very peaceful here. You’re not really in the Alps but mountains are to be seen all around you in the distance. I was lucky enough to be amongst the first to play the new course at the Adare Manor. The property was bought by Irish Tycoon JP McManus in 2015 and he spent a lot of money improving and expanding a resort that was already top notch. The result is something really, really special. The aftermath of the storm two weeks before we played was still painfully visible on the course. Many broken branches and trees, but all in the rough or beyond, so no trouble during play. Because of this you could place your ball pretty much anywhere on the course and the course was not qualifying. Apart from this, the course looked just fine for this time of the year. Be… Mehr

Played on Lauswolt as part of our company Christmas outing. Because of the snow and rain unfortunately only 13 holes of the course were open during our visit. 5 holes (with a lot of water) in the very back of this very spacious terrain (247 acres) were closed because of too much water on the course. Amelisweerd is a nice parkland/polder course. It has a nice entrance and there is enough parking space. The clubhouse is very nice and the lunch menu is great. Although I had played De Haar before, I couldn't really remember the course very well. Mind you, this must have been at least 10 years ago. One of the things I did remember was the last hole which played towards the castle. This time we played the course on a very rainy day, so conditions were tough.
