Two 18 hole courses Royal and Ocean. Both are top quality courses. The mix of having the ocean and beach on one side and thick parkland trees on the other is truly outstanding. Last i played on the Royal course was a few years ago and still remember to this day the scenery and well maintained greens the course has to offer. Make sure you hit straight enough to not scratch any neighbours house though! Which in itself adds to the course's scenic personality. Thin good sand to play out of in bunkers. Not forgetting the iconic 16th which is very menacing just standing on the tee. A must golf round if you ever visit Algarve region.
Campo mítico del Algarve portugués. De los resort más reconocidos. Alto standing. Tienen la foto más pintoresca del par 3 del acantilado sobre la playa. 36 hoyos entre la playa y un pinar espectacular. Ida y vuelta de hoyos entre pinares y vueltas del mar. Un clásico. Ambos campos muy buenos.
The Royal Golf Course has rolling fairways set amidst pine trees and beautiful lakes surrounded by wild flowers. The Royal Golf Course features include the almost island green of the 9th and the famous 16th, with cliff-top carryover – one of the most celebrated golfing images in the world, which has become the veritable symbol of golf in the Algarve.
The Ocean Golf Course features undulating fairways which run alongside nature reserve, before leading gently down to the shores of the Atlantic The front nine are located on a slightly hilly land which characterises Vale do Lobo, surrounded by pine trees with sea view from several holes. The back nine in particular are characterised by spectacular ocean views, with some holes almost stretching down to the beach. On reaching the brow of the hill on the 11th, players come suddenly upon a sight fit to take the most concentrated golfer’s breath away. The fairway runs directly down towards the beach and, for the next few holes, outstanding views and Atlantic breezes are guaranteed to make a player’s round exhilarating, even if his game is below expectations.
