Gendower GC is a real challeging parkland 18 holes golfcourse not far from Royal Kensington and also hosted some big tournaments. Greenfee a bit higher as most other courses but worth the trip. As you may expect all practice facilities available and recommend to use them so be in time. The Kikuya fairways and 60 + bunkers need some practice for your short game to ensure a decent score, otherwise you add some shots to your total. Water hazards only on 11 and 18th hole. Lots of large trees and overhanging branches need your attention when using the driver. Course is quite long but donot forget Jo-burg has an altitude of at least 1500 M altitude so you hit your ball further. 19 hole perfect and good service. A real pleasure to play this course.
