Lovely Clovelly dates all the way back to 1934 and it is located about 45 minutes from Cape Town centre near Fish Hoek and not far from also lovely Simon Town. One of the best layouts in the area with some good holes, I found these ones to be the best: 4th is great par-4 with nice "peninsula" green but keep your tee shot right of the middle,5th is also nice slight dogleg right par-5 where left side of the fairway will give you a chance to attack the green with your second shot. 10th is short dogleg par-5 with challenging green if you are going for the dance floor in two,13th is shorts par-4 with narrow elevated green and 14th is short par-4 where accuracy is the key, Par-5 15th is reachable in two but beware of the water left of the green which is not visible if you are trying to reach the green in two. 18th is short uphill but nice par-4 with elevated green. Golf course was in very good playing condition, greens were nice too. Pro-shop is very well stocked and the staff was super nice.
