Founded in 1888 the club is one of the oldest courses in Ireland, celebrating 130 years of golf in 2018. The course is naturally shaped around the inner reaches of Cork Harbour, which presents a thrilling challenge for any golfer. Founded on free-draining limestone, this championship course at Cork Golf Club presents a crisp playing surface, not unlike links. Players navigating such a unique course will discover a variety of unusual features, including a series of holes set in a disused limestone quarry. The beauty of the course and the ‘old-world’ atmosphere of the Clubhouse is no doubt drawn from the rich history and elegance of Cork Golf Club.

Our membership fees are reflective of the wonderful course and associated benefits that are available to members of Cork Golf Club. There is an initial once-off payment for new members which is retained in a special fund to ensure ongoing development of the club for the benefit of all members. Cork Golf Club is a vibrant and active member’s club with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Benefits include: - Unlimited playing rights on the MacKenzie designed golf course. - A member owned club where the members participate fully in electing the officers and committees as well as planning the future direction of the club. - A club committed to maintaining a low membership so that all members can enjoy easy access to the playing facilities. - A free-draining course playable throughout the year. - A Clubhouse that includes a Private Member’s Room and Dining Room. - A family atmosphere where juniors are encouraged and enjoy regular coaching. - An active social calendar

A superb golf course that has 5 or 6 excellent holes. Holes 3 to 9 are an excellent test of every shot imaginable- short par 4s par 3s and an exceptional par 5. The back 9 isnt as exciting but still tests you. The tee boxes fairways and greens are superb and tge bunkers are the best ive ever seen.

Magnifique parcours, bien entretenu et présentant de jolies challenges à faire et à refaire. Avertissement au accroc du téléphone... interdit au club house... bravos!. Restauration... Irlandaise compensée par l'acceuil des membres et du personnel toujours aussi... Irlandais cad nickel!
