Home of the 2018 European Golf Team Championships
A winning blend of natural beauty and golfing adventure, the three championship golf courses at Gleneagles are regarded among the very best golf courses in the world. The inspiration of two of the greatest names in the game, five times Open winner James Braid and the Golden Bear himself Jack Nicklaus, the courses offer tantalising challenges for all levels of player.
Golf is at the very heart of Gleneagles with it's three championship golf courses and Scotland’s PGA National Golf Academy. The PGA Centenary Course is the host venue for the 2014 Ryder Cup. There has been golf at Gleneagles longer than the Hotel’s 90 year history, with the first course – The King’s Course – dating back to 1919, but this longevity has driven us to develop some of the best courses and coaching in the world. From the professionals at the very top of the game, to keen amateurs and those just starting out, generations of golfers have experienced the game at Gleneagles, with many more to come.
Whether it is the stunning vistas the courses provide, the thrills and challenges along the way or treading the same turf as some of the legends of the game, there are so many reasons to play golf at Gleneagles.
The PGA Centenary Course is a modern classic. The tees are graded at each hole in five stages, including a challenging 6,815 yards from the white markers down to 5,322 from the red. Fittingly, the PGA Centenary Course begins by playing southeast towards the glen, sweeping up the Ochil Hills to the summit of the pass below Ben Shee which joins it to…

James Braid's plan for the King's Course was to test even the best players' shot-making skills over the eighteen holes. When they play the King's the world's greatest golfers admire the cunning and craft with which …

Everything at Gleneagles is special, from the moment you come in, till the first time you get to tee off.
The drive way up to the hotel is spectacular. The practice facilities are also on point.
Queen’s, to me, was terribly underrated: UNTIL TODAY.
Wide open. A lovely design by James Braid. Slightly shorter than the other two courses. Played it from the very back and…
