Aphrodite Hills Golf PGA National Cyprus: Avis

Prachtige golfbaan met veel variatie in holes en ligging. Goed onderhouden. Moeilijke grote greens met veel ondulaties. Clubhuis wordt verbouwd. Niet beschikbaar. Lastige bunkers. Laag zand soms te dik. We spelen deze baan drie keer wat geen straf is.

Ein Golfplatz, den man gespielt haben sollte: wunderschön gepflegte Bahnen und Grüns; herrliche, traumhafte Ausblicke, die man geniessen muss. Ein entspanntes Spielen ohne Hektik und Stress (notfalls sorgt ein freundlicher Ranger für Ordnung). Car ist vorgeschrieben und sinnvoll, da zwischen den Bahnen weite Abstände sind. Onze laatste golfbaan tijdens voorjaarsvakantie. Buggy verplicht: baan zelf is goed te lopen, stukken tussen holes is deze echt nodig. Leuke afwisselende baan en heel anders dan andere Cypriotische banen door de huizen langs de holes. Schitterend onderhoud: snelle en eerlijke greens. Je hebt hier je hele slagenarsenaal nodig om goed rond te komen.

Possibly one of the best layouts and views I have ever played on. Practice facilities could do with more area and space.

What a great and spectacular golf course is this. Unfortunately the clubhouse will be renovated as well as the greens and green side bunkers. At this moment you can see that when everything is finished the course will be superb. We played on temporary greens. Deze golfbaan bezocht in november. Wintergreens ivm heropening januari 2018, maar de baan lag er super bij met een paar fraaie uitdagende holes met vergezichten over zee en ravijnen. Geweldig gastvrije ontvangst, uitermate geschikt voor groepen.

Aphrodite Hills Golf is a very nice golf course to play. Living in Nicosia I drive down to Aphrodite Hills every now and then to play. The scenery is spectacular at Aphrodite Hills. Aphriodite Hills Golf is een prachtige golfbaan. De layout is fenomenaal met prachtige uitzichten op zee. Vooral hole 7 prachtig om te spelen, afslaan van de ene kant van het ravijn met de green aan de andere kant van het ravijn. Ook holes acht heeft een prachtig uitzicht op zee. One of the best courses I have played, but if you have a problem with heights be aware that the route from the 6th green to the 7th tee is steep and whether walking or in a buggy needs to be negotiated carefully. Flights of 4 players every 8 minutes, holes are miles apart from each other. We were in a flight with someone who never touched a golfclub, didn't know about rules, should never have been allowed on the course but money is too important over here. Wouldn't recommend this golf course, take a 10 minute drive and play Secret Valley, much nicer, less expensive and not packed… Plus

Sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig. Die ersten 9 Loch gleichen einer Achterbahnfahrt mit dem Golfcar dann eine spektakuläre Schlucht die man überdiverse Serpenitinen ähnlich einer Passffahrt erreicht. Man ist fast genau so lange im Car als auf dem Platz. Die zweiten Neun sind dann gerdaezu langweilig. Insgesamt: kann aber muss man nicht gespielt haben in der Umgebung gibt es gleich… Plus

A very beautiful course. Well maintained. You do need a buggy because the holes are far apart.
