Las Brisas Royal Golf Club is an 18 Holes course situated in the heart of Nueva Andalucía, in the so-called Golf Valley, is the Real Club de Golf Las Brisas, one of the oldest courses on the Costa del Sol. The intense professional activity of Robert Trent Jones, one of the most famous golf course designers, reached a peak in 1969 with the opening of the Real Club de Golf Las Brisas. The designer created a course which demands accuracy on the part of players and where it is not enough to hit long shots, but rather you have to use your head. The layout contains a lot of water hazards, ten artificial lakes, ample protection from bunkers and greens which are mostly raised. All of this lies in a unique natural setting. Once the share has been purchased and transferred to the new shareholder, which is to be carried out at the public notary, the applicant will have to fill in a membership application form, bearing the supporting signatures of two active Members of the club. Additionally, the following documents must be presented: a copy of the share certificate issued by the notary; a handicap certificate from the applicant’s home club; a photocopy of the passport or identity card; and 2 passport photographs. The completed application form is then posted for a period of not less than 14 days on the Club notice board. If there is no substantiated objection to the applicant, the Executive Committee will then make the final decision to approve the application. Wat een parel. Lay-out is subliem. Onderhoud van de baan kan niet beter. Prachtige baan met schitterende bomen en zeer uitdagende baan. Echte championship course die je hole na hole opnieuw laat genieten. Minpunten zijn de parkeergelegenheid aan de andere kant van de weg. Real Las Brisas is a busy members club. I was very fortunate to get a tee time there in this period of the year, much appreciated. Good facilities, and very clear signs of where to go for first time visitors. The tees are numbers here instead of colours. I'm a big fan of this system. Las Brisas certainly is one of the better courses around Marbella. It is a parc course surrounded by real estate. No real 'natural' feel here but the quality and variety of the course design largely compensate for the artificial look. Fantastische golfbaan. Op het terras een waanzinnig uitzicht over de baan. Oefenfaciliteiten zijn niet wat je bij zo’n baan zou verwachten. De driving range ballen zouden beter kunnen.
