Deze baan gespeeld met 34 km wind per uur, scoren kun je hier dan vergeten maar genieten blijf je hier doen. I live on the Costa del Sol and have played every course on the coast and in my opinion this is the best of the best. Its on a par with Valderrama, La Reserva and Finca Cortesin in terms of standard and quality of course. Schitterende maar helaas toch dure golfbaan. Club house is prachtig alsook de "proshop". De "practice" is aangenaam en ballen zijn inbegrepen in de prijs. De eerste tee is vlakbij de "practice". Wat is dit een mooie en perfect onderhouden baan! Uitdagende holes, prachtige fairways, indrukwekkende waterhindernissen, palmbomen, kurkeiken, hooggelegen spannende greens die puur rollen... een feest om hier te mogen spelen. Klassiker som ligger precis vid havet. Märkligt nog ser man inte mycket av vattnet när man spelar denna traditionella parkbana. Fantastiskt fina greener och flera utmanande hål. Precision premieras mer än längd. Gillar framförallt par 3-hålen.

Once you enter the resort you realize that this is no ordinary course. Everything is top notch! Once you arrive the parking, a staff guy comes and takes your clubs to the caddymaster. The practice is excellent with a wide and long driving range and some excellent options for short game. Überwiegend flacher Kurs direkt an der Küste, man kann durchaus auf den Cart verzichten. Die Anlage ist mit alten Korkeichen und Palmen bewachsen, die Fairways sind tlw. gesäumt von unbewohnten Villen. Beperkte toegang drivingrange voor gasten kan beter. Prachtige RTJ baan. Makkelijker dan Valderrama maar wel met goed bewaakte, snelle greens. One of the best courses in Europe probably. Recently generously renovated RC Sotogrande presents itself as good as it gets. The greens are great but very small so this course needs some skill. The typical cork-oaks which fringe the holes can prove costly for wayward shots, so this is not a course to mindlessly overpower. Thinking your way around the track will reward y… Plus
