I have played this course 4 times and it never ceases to amaze. The course is penal, extremely though, but very fun to play. Lots of water. Tight fairways. Fantastic layout. It is pure golf. Do not look at the surroundings or the ugly concrete hotel and clubhouse. You are there only for the golf. The course in a nice location with nature would be close to a perfect 10. Plus

This course is a Van Hagge creation. Characterised by his usual humps and bumps on the fairways. All the loops are very good and fun to play. Placed in a fantastic area for golf, with beautiful nature, lots of elevation change and natural water hazards. Nice but not to memorable golf course. Situated in beautiful nature. Maybe a missed design opportunity. The sight has a lot of potential that has not been fulfilled. Some heather. Some tight holes in the forest. Many doglegs. Not a lot of water.

One more fantastic golfcourse in South Africa. Real old school golf. No drivingrange. Only a little puttinggreen, so you start cold. But what an amazing golfcourse for the money. Just as good and fun to play as the nearby very posh and costly Fancourt courses. Good solid golf... A real members club.

Two very contrasting golf courses. One inlandlinks and the other routed through the forrest. Both very fun to play. Both with very good layout. Super greens and good green keeping. As fun to play as the more famous Catalunya in the same area.

France has a lot of old charming and fun golf courses. Monte Carlo is one of them. Maybe not one of the best layouts... but this is compensated by the fantastic views out over Monaco.

Charmerende gammel skovbane i det skønneste landskab. Hyggeligt klubhus med rigtig god restaurant. Spændende layout med mange signaturhuller. Absolut en af Danmarks bedre baner.

One of the most charming golf courses I have played. Old school golf through an amazing old wood mixed up with open holes and heather. Lightning quick greens. Fun playable layout. Very nice old clubhouse and restaurant. One of Europe’s best old courses.

All TPC golf courses are part of a network owned and operated by the PGA Tour. Tampa Bay has held many professional competitions. For many years it was a stop on the PGA senior tour. If it was not for the PGA tour playing here, it would just be another okay Florida golfcourse. As most American clubs the place is lacking in charm and ambience compared to European golfclubs. An okay golfcourse in nice surroundings. Not very memorable. Good training facilities. Good value for the price we payed.

Flad linksbane. Mange af hullerne skåret igennem lyng. Meget anderledes fra de fleste andre baner jeg har spillet. Flot udsigt fra de fleste huller. Dejlig klubhus med god restaurant. Beautiful manicured Jack Nicklaus course with all his signature bunkering. Fantastic clubhouse. More artificial American feel than the other courses we played on the tour. I quite preferred Killarney and Druids Gleen with their more natural and Irish feel. But even then a very nice round of golf.

To fantastiske baner hvor jeg faktisk blev mest bjergtaget af den mindre hypede Casheen course. Casheen er sikkert simpelthen for vanskelig og straffende for de fleste golfere. Vi spillede begge baner i pivstorm og fik alle alvorlig røvfuld. Fantastisk landskab i kæmpe klitter. Klubhuset er desværre en betonbunker som er helt malplaceret i den smukke rå natur. Irland… Plus

I played this course many years ago just after i started playing golf. It was for many years the most beautiful and fun golfcourse i had played. Even today i remember quite a lot of the holes. Some day i will have to go back and play some more of Irelands fantastic golfcourses.

I played The Old Course a couple of years after I started golfing. To bad it was not today. I would have enjoyed it even more. I had around 20 in handicap and was up around 22 points at the turningpoint when I all of a sudden hit a shank. After this I shanked all the way in.
