The road up to Morgado is impressive - it takes quite a while before you reach the resort/hotel. On your way you pass a lot of unfinished buildings (apartments and hotels?) - also while playing Morgado course - and that is the only thing that really disturbed me. The hotel has several blocks with rooms, which do not look very cosy, but when you enter the room they are very spacious, they have all things and more you might expect and the views across the course are great. Prices are fair, so if you want to be located in a quiet environment, with access to two good golf courses, then this is a good option. The hotel also has a nice pool and a proper bar and restaurant (buffet style). The drivingrange is nice, you can tee off from the grass with a lot of spaces. We played the Morgado course and this is the easiest of the two courses. Wide fairways, with good greens and just fun to play. It might not be a course that you will remember for years, but it's certainly enjoyable. So give it a try! The clubhouse is slightly less inviting than the restaurant and hotel. Staff is friendly and in my opinion this course is sometimes overlooked.
