What an amazing property this is! The golf course itself has nothing to do with Scottish links courses as this is quite typical parkland golf course built on the shores of Loch Lomond. Beautiful layout with some great holes out there like 4,5,7,9,13,15 and great finishing par 4 18th hole. No. 13 is probably my favorite. Holes 5,8 and 17 are lovely par 3 holes. Par 3 11th hole is the only one that seemed to me like nothing special even though it can play quite though. We played no. 14 as par 3 as the new fairway was being rebuild. Despite the fact that Scotland had the worst winter in about last 70-80 years the course was in very good condition. Greens were great but the fairways were still pretty wet due to the heavy rain prior to our arrival so the course played very long... The clubhouse mansion is simply amazing. The food in the bar and in restaurant is also very good. Pro-shop is not that big but it is very well stocked with tons of logo items. Accommodation in the lake houses is great with large rooms but it is quite expensive. Service was top-notch and the staff was super friendly, service wise probably one of the best experiences I had so far! If you are lucky and the sun shines for all 3 days of your stay makes this experience even better. A must play if you get the chance to play it...
