Very challenging course where you dont have roughs. Miss a fairway and you are on the sand. Short greens a very well protected with bunkers. Huge and modern clubhouse which fulfill the needs.

Great surrounding when arriving the clubhouse. The course is challenging enough to make you think every shot. A couple of short par5 which allows you to hit some birdies.

Great design of a golf course settled in a wonderfull place. Great maintenance conditions. Fairways and tee had been overseed and therefore were higher than expected, but its understandable. Great service from staff and a very chic clubhouse. Challenging holes which makes the course a great challenge to our skill.

Very interesting golf course. Not a championship, but a true enjoyable course. Very well mantained, and needs lots of strategy to play it. Small greens and norrowed fairways, makes you wanna think before you choose the club. Friendly clubhouse. Some blind holes, and therefore would like to repeat in order to make a better score.

Always been attracted by Amendoeira Resort, on both courses. Faldo course is a great challenge to your game. Every hole is different and very strategic. Vale do Lobo Royal is both a test to your strait game and tactical game. The course is not very long, but due to the straightness of the fairways, makes you think about every shot. Maintenance wise it was in perfect conditions. Clubhouse is top notch and a must visit after a round. The famous par 3 by the ravine is a tough one, specially with wind against.

Benamor is the perfect golf course when you want to have a pleasant round and make a good score at the same time. We are not looking to a "super championship course", long and very challenging. Overall a great golf course to test your skill. Always surrounded by trees, it forces you to hit strait. a couple of blind shots to help the suspense. Good clubhouse and terrace to allow you relax after the game. Tees and greens were good for this time of the year.

First time I have played Montado and it was a very pleasant surprise. The course was in great maintenace conditions, with some of the best greens ever played lately. Played the blue and green courses. Both are very strategic with tree lines all over the holes which require precise and strait shots. Greens had diferent speed on each 9, but overall maintence was very good. Clubhouse is great with staff very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to come back.

It was with no surprise that Monte Rei blew our minds, from the beginning to the end. The service at arrival is something that we wont forget, with valet parking. The moment you enter Penina Resort, you realize that you are inside Portugal golf history. From the Hotel to the clubhouse, everything tells something. The course itself was in great conditions not a difficult course, but you need to hit strait due to the tree lines surrounding the holes. Didn't play this course for a while and must say this was the time a have seen it in the best conditions. Overall the course is in very good maintenance conditions. Both fairways and greens are superb. Only some of the tees need attention. Was great to see the works for new cart paths, which will help the course in the future.

Very demanding course due to the constant water. Need to be on your best golf in order to score well. In general the course was in great conditions, pity the absence of driving range. Due to bad weather didnt manage to finish the round, but it didn't ruin the experience. Caddymaster was very helpful in order to avoid slow groups in front.

Quinta da Ria was a very pleasant surprise, since it was my first time there. Initially was supposed to play Quinta de CIma, but the helpful starter advised us to play Q. Morgado course being the closest to the clubhouse, has all facilities in hand. Great practice facilities right next to tee 1. The course is a normal resort course which makes it accessible for all type of handicaps. Greens were superb. The collars were under maintenance which some times made the shots difficult. In general was a good experience.

Played Alamos. Being off season, is understandable that maintenance wise was not perfect, but still very good. Less definition than normal, but once again, time of the year does not help. This course is the perfect combination between a parkland and a links. Very well presented and mantained. We were a group that had breakfast befeore the round and food was great, with very kind staff. It was a perfect day.

This is a big test to your golf. A espetacular golf course right next to the ocean, which will require your best golfing skills. Fairways surrounded by bushes will demand strait shots, and very ondulated grens. For sure one of the most picturestic courses I have ever played, and on perfect maintenance conditions!

Played the Lagos - Praia course and it was in perfect conditions. Praia greens just recovered from hollow coring and were great. Despite Lagos greens werent hollow corred yet, they were also fast and not bumpy. Tees and fairways with great surface. Once new clubhouse is built, it will push service up for sure. What a great Seve's masterpiece. Great layout that challenges your game to the edge. Protected greens with water and / or sand, with narrow fairways, makes Quinta do Vale the perfect challenge to your game, pushing for the strategic play inside you. Need to think carefully the next shot, and not the one you are hitting. It was a veru good surprise. Coming back for sure!

Very well maintained. Course layout is normal and don't "wow" you, but was very surprised on the level of maintenance. Perfect greens.

Generally needs more attention to maintenance. Understand its hard to keep it in perfect conditions due to the location, but it could be improved. Good layout, and friendly staff.
