When you play Saadiyat try to get a tea time as early as possible because if you are lucky you might see dozens of wild gazelles they live on the course and don't damage it. De Herkenbosche is qua ligging één van de mooiste banen in het zuiden. Aangelegd in een oud productie bos ooit bedoeld voor de mijnen was dit een van de weinige plekken waar bomen gekapt mochten worden voor de aanleg van een golfbaan in Nederland. They have just opened the new clubhouse end of 2019. The course was already opened in 2012. This course is run by the same people as Royal Fes. The members are member at both. The old town of Fes is only 15 minutes from the course and definitely worth a visit. The course is quite open with some water and nice greens. Sinds de nieuwe eigenaar er is zie je langzaam de verbeteringen komen. De greens worden beter hier en daar een likje verf en ook de gastvrijheid van het personeel is zeker beter dan voorheen. De baan blijft voor mij een beetje uit balans sommige par 3's zouden qua lengte niet misstaan op een volwaardige 18 holes baan (150m+) en dan zijn er weer 3 holes achter elkaar van… Più
