Set in a pine wood with several lakes, and benefiting from a microclimate that allows you to play golf all year round, the Aroeira I and II golf courses offer players of all levels a stimulating and varied challenge.
Herdade da Aroeira is located in a preserved area, 25km from the centre of Lisbon and just 600 meter from the beach. The estate covers 350 hectares, has thousands of pines and several lakes to go with a temperate microclimate. There are two 18-hole championship golf courses, a golf school, a friendly clubhouse with snack-bar, bar and golf shop, as well as apartments and villas, tropical swimming pool, four tennis courts, playground, shopping mall and a hotel is planned.
The Aroeira estate is ring fenced, has gatehouses and a round-the-clock security service.

Zeer goed onderhouden golfbaan (Aroeira I). Niet echt moeilijk, redelijk brede fairways, een aantal doglegs en niet erg veel bunkers. De banen liggen tussen royale bungalows, deels nog in aanbouw. Snelle greens. Goede caddymasyer, er zat lekkere vaart in het spel.
Clubhuis is matig en alleen een oefen green, de driving range ligt bij Aroeira II en dat is niet op loopafst…

Better than 1. Nice and tricky holes between many pine trees. Good greens, and nice fairways. the hiking trails through the course is absolutely not. annoying. Only the dogs on the Course.

Quand vous jouez le parcours 1 impossible d'aller au practice sans prendre sa voiture car il est situé côté parcours 2 mais qui est fermé en août. Donc pas pratique du tout pour s'echauffer. Parcours long (c'est la difficulté) bien entretenu au niveau des fairways et des départs. Greens TRÈS lents et en fin de carottages. Départs du 1 des boules blanches mal indiqué. Bunk…

De 1e negen zijn mi een beetje saai. Alle par 4’s gewoon driver. De bijzondere huizen die langs de holes staan maken het afwisselend... De 2e negen zijn mi leuker om te spelen. Het clubhuis is sfeervol en zowel bij de receptie als de bediening is zeer vriendelijk.
