I live on the Costa del Sol and have played every course on the coast and in my opinion this is the best of the best. Its on a par with Valderrama, La Reserva and Finca Cortesin in terms of standard and quality of course. The fairways are like carpets, the greens fast and true and everything about the course is immaculate. Fantastic practice facilities with quality titleist balls on the range and a selection of putting greens and chipping areas that are all in pristine condition. What puts this course above the other premium courses is the overall feel of the place. Built in 1964 it has a mature charm about it and with a flat layout (unusual for the coast) it can easily be walked. The fairways are quite wide so its does not feel like its a really difficult course although with the fast greens which are well protected by bunkers you have to be on your game to score well.
