The Empordà Golf Resort enjoys a privileged location in Catalonia, just thirty minutes from Girona and its airport, and fifteen minutes from the best beaches on the Costa Brava. The course at Empordà Golf consists of 36 holes divided between two 18-hole rounds: Links and Forest. It was designed by Robert Von Hagge who successfully integrated a links-style area with large lakes, dunes and extensive bunkers into a Mediterranean landscape, to give us dense and well maintained pinewoods and wide fairways. He was aided in this task by the exceptional beauty of the natural surroundings in the Baix Empordà, in the very heart of the Costa Brava. The course was permanent host for the PGA Pre-Qualifying School II European Tour, and has hosted the Final of the PGA Qualifying School European Tour.

Prachtig complex met twee verschillende courses. Heel veel gespeeld hier en telkens moeite met 1ste hole en green. Ook de 2de is aanblik zeer aantrekkelijk maar moeilijk om par te spelen. Vooral de vele doglegs blijven uitdagend en ook de 18e blijft lastig om goed te finishen. Jammer dat het terras niet aantrekkelijk is gelegen. Professionele uitstraling en vriendelijke r…

Na de Forest vonden wij de Links wat tegenvallen, zeker qua omgeving. Het is ook wel een uitdagende baan met hier en daar megalomane bunkers, maar de uitstraling was wat minder mede door het zicht op enkele schuttingen en lelijke, onbestemde gebouwen én bovenal de toch wel luidruchtige weg.

La date à laquelle vous avez joué est une periode de haute saison pour nous. Le Marshall m´a dit qu’il parlé avec vous. Les weekends et les matins du mois octobre sont toujours prisés en haute saisons. Pour une seule personne, en periode de haute saison, il est préférable de jouer dans l´après-midi car c'est plus calme
