Located on the hill of Lomada de Tecina, the course overlooks the blue ocean waters. In the words of its designer, leading British architect and writer Donald Steel, it is “the most exciting and challenging project I have ever designed and built. It is unusual because you have to climb up to the first teeing ground, and then it is downhill all the way. The views are amazing”.
The 18 Tecina Golf holes overlooking the sea measure a total of 6,343 metres from the white tees, and it is a par 71 golf course.
Fairways and greens are surrounded by a profusion of native Canary Islands vegetation, such as Canary Island spurge cactus and tabaiba shrubs, and trees bearing such fruits as banana, avocado and mango, each giving off its characteristic aroma.

Parti de Ténérife, pris le bateau, la route panoramique qui est juste incroyable de beauté puis nous voilà arrivé au golf de Tecina... Que dire de plus que WOUAWWWWWW du premier au dernier trous le spectacle est grandiose. Pour moi qui ai plus de 300 golfs à mon actif ce parcours est vraiment l'un des plus beau, certe pas très difficile mais un plaisir à couper le souffle…

Tecina golf op La Gomera is een andere baan dan anders. Vanuit Tenerife kan je met de ferry een dagtrip doen om hier te golfen. Dat is goed te doen en zeker aan te raden. Aangekomen op La Gomera is het nog een flink stuk rijden over zeer bochtige wegen. Maar het is het zeker waard. Eenmaal aangekomen worden wij vriendelijk ontvangen bij de receptie en krijgen we de uitleg…

Incroyable parcours tout en descente du 1er au 18ième trou (on vous emmène au 1 en voiture trafic). La vue sur l'ile de Tenerife située juste en face est extraordinaire en particulier celle de son volcan le TEÏDE. Bref paradisiaque. Le seul point noir : c'est un périple pour venir depuis Tenerife en prenant le BAC avec sa petite voiture le matin de bonne heure et trouver …
