Howth Golf Club
Howth is a hidden gem on the verge of being discovered. Located on a peninsula about a half hours drive of Dublin airport it's a real find. Lahinch Golf Club
What's good? I'm bias, it's my home course, however Lahinch's world ranking (Old Course) is 36th so I may not be the only bias person after playing it! The castle course is for the junior and senior members, i've marked it 6/10, it's a nice run around if your looking to see where your game is at and to get rid of any cobwebs. The Royal Dublin Golf Club
The experience of playing Royal Dublin starts when you cross the wooden one way bridge to reach the island were the club was founded in 1885. This Colt design is the 2nd oldest club in Ireland and tradition is found all over the clubhouse. The Island Golf Club
The drive to the Island (about half an hour north of Dublin) is very nice. Especially the last part where the water is just right of the road and you see the clubhouse in the distance.
