Golf in Rome

Rome is the capital city of Italy and it is one of the most important tourist destinations of the world, due to the immensity of its archaeological and artistic treasures and its unique location as Rome was built on seven hills. Rome is located in the central-western side of the Italian Peninsula along the shores of the Tiber. The Vatican City is an independent country inside the city boundaries of Rome, the only example of a country within a city. Since Marco Simone Golf Club in Guidonia Montecelio (Rome) was selected as the host of the Ryder Cup 2022, Rome has attracted more interest as a new golf destination.
