Royal Regina Golf Club

Royal Regina is a prestigious semi-private golf club that opened in 1899. In 2018 it was the host of the Monday Qualifier for the LPGA CP Canadian Open held at Wascana Country Club. To be honest, I found the layout to be relatively flat and not very eventful. It is bordered by railway tracks, the RCMP’s training facility and the nearby airport. The 8th is the most picturesque. A tee shot needs to carry river to a narrow fairway. Your 2nd shot is uphill but do not be left on your tee shot as river runs down the left that is not visible. Prudent move is to use a long iron to the centre of the fairway. Your approach shot has two bunkers in front to protect the green on the left and right side.

The Candle Lake Golf Course

Candle Lake Saskatchewan is a popular summer cottage destination for those who “bleed Rough Rider green”. Located about a two and a half hour drive north of Saskatoon we stayed in one of the newer two-bedroom townhouse-style rentals at Candle Lake Resort. I would suggest you bring in your own food and evening entertainment as amenities here are sparse. The adjacent Candle Lake Golf Course is very narrow and bordered mostly by aspen poplar trees. There are marshy ponds on a number of holes but no sand bunkers on the front nine. All the bunkering is saved for the back nine. This is a very nice layout but never really incorporates the views of the Candle Lake. The conditioning is just okay but seems rough around the edges.

chateau wistler è un campo di montagna con tanti saliscendi e difficile da interpretare. club houise e scenario magnifici, ottima manutenzione.

Golfbaan is een berg-bosbaan. Prachtig gelegen en erg rustig. Verplichte valet-parking. Drivingrange ligt 1 km verder die men met een transfer van de GC aangeboden krijgt. De eerste vier holes zijn lastig met name door de doglegs. Helaas kan het erg druk zijn, persoonlijke ervaring maar ook bevestigd door andere golfers. Er wordt geen HcP card gevraagd waardoor het golfersniveau tot grote opstoppingen leidt. Ze blijven zoeken en laten niet door. Vermoedelijk gasten van het fairmount hotel waarvan de baan is. De beste baan in Whistler.

Fantastisch gelegen golfbaan. Verschrikkelijk snelle greens. Gastvrij en vrij prijzig. Bediening is top. Geen douches!

Deze geweldig mooie baan een zusje van Lé Diable. Beide banen liggen in een natuurgebied (nat. Park) 2 uur rijden ten noorden van Montréal. Shop en clubhuis stellen niet veel voor; een dranje is mogelijk maar eten niet. Tijdens de ronde komt men regelmatig langs met een sandwich of een drankje. De baan is geonduleerd met uitdagende approches en mooie vergezichten. Zeker de moeite waard. Reserveren is aangeraden.

Mon plaisir après avoir jouer à la Bête était fort. Tout d'abord l'accueil avec l'accent local et le p'tit déjeuner, le décor était en place pour se préparer à un jeu où je retiens 2 birdies au trou 3 et 12 des blancs. Le parcours est stratégique pour scorer et d'une qualité exceptionnelle et vous avez chaque trou une aventure nouvelle avec le plaisir des yeux ??.

Amenez du chasse moustiques. L’élite est incroyablement serré. Il est en bonne condition. Beaucoup de dogleg, parcours densément boisés. Je le recommande si vous voulez tester vos coups de driver. L’ancestrale est plaisant à jouer, les verts sont minuscules mais c’est la seul défense du parcours. Quelques trous intéressant. Seulement 6200 verges. Je le recommande si vous jouer pour avoir du plaisir. Il reste un parcours ordinaire.

Le seigneur est le plus beau. Le griffon est un parcours de par 3 Le premier neuf du moulin est le fun a jouer mais le deuxième est horrible. À flanc de montagne et plein de dog legs. Les braves est à mon avis le design le plus bizarre. Le seigneur et les braves sont en bonnes conditions.

Brede fairways, weinig water. Redelijk wat hoogteverschillen. Zeer goede prijs/kwaliteit net buiten Montréal.

Joué les deux configurations que permettent les 3x9 trous, tout aussi intéressantes, bon entretien car joué sous la pluie battante les deux fois et sans inconvénient, parcours en ville qui fait oublier la ville.

Agréable parcours en ville, plat mais de bonne facture, très bon accueil, très bon club house.

Humber Valley Golf Course

Humber Valley Golf Course is located smack dab in the middle of a major metropolitan city. Fortunately, the City of Toronto has kept this municipal course in great shape since it opened on 1958. They have obviously not spent the same amount of attention on the clubhouse because it looks almost the same as it did over 60 years ago. Heck we came for the golf not for all the extra amenities. This is a stately par 70 parkland layout that is fun to experience for all calibers of players. Water only comes into play on two holes and the mature tree-lined rough is well manicured. You may not be able to see the pin but at least you will be able too find your ball and have a good chance to recover back onto the fairway. The opening nine holes are the shorter of two (2,435 versus 3,037 yards from the back tees) with only par 3s and 4's whereas final nine holes feature two very difficult par-5's. The back nine seems rather repetitive as holes 10 though 14 are all shorter par 4's with no water and no fairway bunkers to contend with. The 15th hole however will surely wake you up. This medium length par-3 has the Humber River running along the entire right side, a large bunker short left and a narrow but elongated green. Even though this course has a short executive feel to it, some of the greens are rather treacherous with large undulations making for some fun roller coaster putts. The City of Toronto own and operate three other courses as well. Don Valley GC, a regulation par 71, the par 72 Tam O’Shanter, the executive par 62 Scarlett Woods and the par 3 Dentonia Park. It is great to see a world-class city hold onto these precious few assets. A place where anyone is welcome and inner-city kids can get to easily buy public transit.
