Royal Regina Golf Club
Royal Regina is a prestigious semi-private golf club that opened in 1899. In 2018 it was the host of the Monday Qualifier for the LPGA CP Canadian Open held at Wascana Country Club. To be honest, I found the layout to be relatively flat and not very eventful. It is bordered by railway tracks, the RCMP’s training facility and the nearby airport. The 8th is the most pictur…

Candle Lake Golf Resort
Candle Lake Saskatchewan is a popular summer cottage destination for those who “bleed Rough Rider green”. Located about a two and a half hour drive north of Saskatoon we stayed in one of the newer two-bedroom townhouse-style rentals at Candle Lake Resort. I would suggest you bring in your own food and evening entertainment as amenities here are sparse. The adjacent Candle…

Saskatoon Golf & Country Club
The Saskatoon Golf & Country Club is a semi-private golf course located on the Southern edge of the city. A parkland course with mature trees and enough water to get you're attention. A combination of poa and bent grass greens, New and old 9's. Established in 1907 with various incarnations over the years. Excellent practice facility that includes a 3 hole practice loop. …

Waskesiu Golf Course
A Lake Golf Course located in Waskesiu National Park. It is a real Golf getaway with pine tree lined rolling fairways. A nature walk while Golfing with the chance to see Elk and Bears. Every hole is private and quiet except for the odd ball hitting the trees. Not very long but the rolling fairways and elevation changes add to the challenge. Built in 1935 a Stanley Thomp…

North Battleford Golf & Country Club
The North Battleford Golf Course established two years after Summer of love 1969. The hallmark of this course is the fast greens. Difficult to read due to gradual and not so gradual pull of the Saskatchewan river valley. Play with a local or play a few times to improve you're score. Always in great shape with scenic views of the river valley.

Evergreen Golf Course
Nipawin is about a 90-minute drive north of Prince Albert. With a population of around 5700, the Canadian Pacific Railway line and a regional hospital, this is the gateway to the north. Besides the hunting and world-class Walleye pickerel fishing, the Evergreen Golf Course is definitely a focal point with a casual atmosphere and great pricing. This mature parkland layout …
