I saw a picture of this course on Instagram and decided I have to play it. Weirdly, the same thing is the best and the worst thing about this club, that is, the location. The best due to the fact that you get to enjoy a beautiful view on practically every hole and the worst because it takes ages to get to it, from Ljubljana it took me well over 4 hours to drive the good 350 kilometres, it is a scenic drive, but still, it's long. I arrived in the town around 10pm, that meant that almost all the restaurants were closed, so, if you plan on arriving late and plan on eating, do it on the way. It is a lovely village dough, very nicely maintained and very hospitable. The facilities at the course are well maintained, there is an OK pro shop, nothing special in terms of selection of the merchandise available, but nicely made. The driving range is build in floors and it bothered me that you kinda have to hit from the mat, I don't like that. The Locker rooms are basic but functional, however, if you plan on locking the locker, you better have some 1 Euro coins, that is the only thing that will lock it and no one is bothered to tell you that at the reception. I am mentioning this because fo the positioning of the buildings, it is quite inconvenient, you park above the club house where you pay the green fee and where the restaurant is located, its a minute or two walk down the hill. Then the locker rooms are positioned another few minutes of walk down the road and the range a bit further etc... It's a bit inconvenient, nothing is far away, but if you have to walk it 6 times it gets old. The course itself was well worth the drive, really fun to play, some spectacular par 3 holes, nice par 5 holes and generally speaking, great layout! I liked it so much I played the course twice on that day. One piece of advice though, I consider myself to be in a pretty good shape and after walking the course 2 times, I think a third time might affect my game. You are basically playing up and down on the edge of a mountain, so, if you are not in a good physical condition, I suggest you take a cart, otherwise you'll suffer, and it would be a shame, the course it really great if you get in some good shots! As pr the maintenance, it is good but the greens were quite soft, especially on the holes where you shoot down from a highly elevated position, the ball went in the ground more than half of the way, not really great. All in all, great course, great fun, definitely recommend a visit.
