Om Club de Golf Alcanada
The Mediterranean Golf Experience!
The course is situated 60 km north of Palma on a stretch of land which slopes gently down to the edge of the sea, is covered with pine, olive and holm oak trees, and has a marvellous view of the island of Alcanada and its lighthouse in the foreground and the mountains of the Sierra de Levante in the background.
The club has a magnificent round of 18 holes designed by the legendary architects Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Jr. It is a difficult course which requires a good handicap.

Deze baan is erg bijzonder door diverse zaken, ten eerste de eigenaar is Porsche en dat zie je wel terug aan diverse details en ligt erg mooi gelegen in het noorden van Mallorca met de vuurtoren en vergezichten als hoogtepunt. Played there some years ago and still have great memories. The Club in general is really nice and you can enjoy great views of the mediterranean sea both from the Club house terrace and some of the tees. Definitely worth a visit!

In so einem schlechten Zustand haben wir den Platz noch nie angetroffen. Abschläge gut, aber die Fairways braun und teilweise graslos. Die Greens waren je nach Ballposition nicht spielbar. Die Graspfropfen sind nicht ebenerdig, teilweise ohne Gras, die neuen Rasenziegel sind ausgetrocknet, haben Zwischenräume und sind ebenfalls nicht ebenerdig verlegt. Kein Vergleich mit …

Es tut uns Leid zu hören, dass wir dieses Mal Ihre Erwartungen an unseren Platz nicht erfüllen konnten und es freut uns zu hören, das Ihnen Son Gual so gut gefallen hat. Sie haben recht, an 2-3 Grüns (insbesondere an Grün 5), müssen einige Stellen am Rande der Grüns nochmals ausgebessert werden, nachdem die kürzlich gepflanzten Rasenziegel bei der aktuellen Hitze nicht angewachsen sind. Die Kritik an unseren Fairways können wir so nicht teilen. Wir hoffen, dass Sie bei Ihrem nächsten Besuch in Alcanada wieder voll und ganz zufrieden sind!
