Je moet wel een beetje lef hebben als je ondanks alle vernietigende kritieken toch op deze baan gaat spelen, maar uiteindelijk wordt dat wel beloond. De situatie die in veel reviews wordt beschreven is namelijk al flink verbeterd.

Ik kom al jaren regelmatig op Gran Canaria. De laatste Nederlandse beoordeling (van 2016) van El Cortijo Club de Campo was ronduit slecht. Ik had om die reden de baan tot nu toe gemeden, maar was ook wel benieuwd naar de status Anno 2019. De situatie zoals beschreven in de review van 2016 is aanzienlijk verbeterd.
