An undiscovered gem in the Montseny Natural Park
Montanyà Golf Club is a place of great beauty in Catalonia. Due to it's proximity, the course has an intimate relationship with the Montseny natural park. The course is over 6000 metres long, with a par of 72 over 18 holes with a notable difference in technical environmental characteristics between the first 9 holes and the remaining 9.
Montanyà Golf course was designed by David Thomas and inaugurated in 1989. The first nine holes form a relatively short and quite technical stretch of the course.

Montanya is nice parkland layout designed by David Thomas and the course just now celebrated its 30th birthday. Mooie en zeer rustige baan, we liepen deze op een maandag en werkelijk waar geen hond (alhoewel... toevallig 1 flight in de baan tegen gekomen met een hond, die zich prima vermaakte in de vijver) tegenkomt.

The home course of our legendary Johan Cruijff. You would think it would be a posh course but it isn’t. It’s a all mans course with a great clubhouse. The 1st is great looking but plays quite short. The 14th is the Johan Cruijff hole. Not an easy par 3, just like the legend was him self. Overall a nice course to play for a reasonable green fee.
