About Ile Aux Cerfs Golf Club
Spectacular golfing in Mauritius!
Designed by the famous golfer, Bernhard Langer, the golf course is set on its own island, the iconic Ile aux Cerfs, on the East coast of Mauritius.
The golf course is only accessible by air or by sea and is a feast to the eyes.
All 18 holes of this island golf have views of the ocean – some with glimpses across clearings through the trees; others by coming close to the shore. Expansive white sand bunkers and water set off the natural backdrop of trees and vegetation perfectly.
The unique island golf course of Ile aux Cerfs is definitely one of the most stupendous golf courses in the world, a “must play” as Colin Montgomerie puts it.
The golf course is enjoyable by players of all levels and has been voted several times as a "Must-Play golf course in a Lifetime"!

The 2nd course we playing is one with a very good reviews by a lot of players.
Talking to some local players before we went mentioned that some years ago the course was extremely difficult and in recent years it has been made a bit more friendly.

Magnifique terrain en pleine nature totalement respectée par le parcours. Très luxuriant et vues à couper le souffle sur l’océan indien. Parcours technique où sortir le drive ressort de la prétention. Les deux derniers trous depuis les blancs nécessitent un carry à 180 mètres minimum.

Playing Ile aux cerfs is certainly an unforgettable experience. The extremely well-maintained course winds through the tropical forest and mangroves, offering a glimpse of the ocean and the beach on several holes. The narrow fairways, the many doglegs, and the various natural and man-made hazards make this a rather technical course, favouring accuracy over distance.
