Golf Park Steinhuder Meer e.V.

The course was designed and constructed in 1997 by Golf Professional & Golf Architect Ronald Orme and has been run as a family business since then. Like its name suggests Golf Park Steinhuder Meer is a parkland design golf course. The first nine holes play around a wooded area of mainly oak and Scottish pine. During construction thousands of trees, shrubs & bushes were planted and are now an integral part of the course.In addition to this, there are thirteen small lakes and over fifty bunkers and sand roughs strategically placed to add little sugar and spice and all things nice to the course. Most of the holes are ´doglegs´which gives the big hitters an advantage but the average player and high handicapper need not worry, with a good shot you should be able to carry most of the hazards.More
