About Islantilla Golf Resort
Beach, golf, gastronomy, sport... relax!
Opened in 1992, this is famous for being one of the best courses in Spain. In 2000 it was listed by the prestigious Golf Digest magazine as among the 100 best courses in Europe.
Situated inside the modern Islantilla residential complex, the course has a fantastic climate and wonderful views of the sea whose azure tones contrast sharply with the lush green vegetation which surrounds the 27 holes which make up the course, and are divided into three rounds of varying difficulty which players of any handicap will enjoy. The course was designed with great care, with gentle slopes and pretty lakes, and the quality of the Pencross greens and Agrostis fairways endows the course with great versatility. The courses have a total length of 9,075 metres and is considered to be a commercial course.

It is an interesting par 36 course with 3 par 3, 3 par 4 and 3 par 5, what make it appropriate for medium handicappers. Except for the first three holes the rest is quite affordable

Campo 27 buche con resort collegato. Campo pratica ampio e molto comodo. 3 percorsi 9 buche divertenti e tecnici. Il Giallo a mio parere è quello più bello. Buona la manutenzione generale in particolare i fairway sono molto ben tenuti. Club house con bella terrazza panoramica. Pacchetti stay&play molto convenienti. Ideale per piccole vacanze con gli amici.

Prima week doorgebracht op Islantilla. De golfbaan (3 lussen) is afwisselend, uitdagend en goed onderhouden, wel erg druk. Buggy was (althans voor ons) noodzakelijk. Hotel is goed: schoon, ruime kamers en prima buffet, gevarieerd en goede kwaliteit. We zijn blij te weten dat de staat van onderhoud van de golfbaan opvalt, onze kamers en de service in ons hoofdrestaurant. Wat betreft de open bars en restaurants, zodra we het buitenzwembad openen, opent de Aloe Grill, maar buiten de zomer hebben we de Bar Colón en het Clubhuis, zoals het zegt. Great 27 holes, where the Verde 9 holes got my preference due to the elevations. Clubhouse is nice, food is bad and even had closed kitchen after playing the course. Serving people in restaurant are chaotic and not professional.
Despite this negative expierence (3 times) I really recommend the golfcourse.

Redelijk onderhouden baan. Service uitstekend, ook toen wij graag wilden wisselen met de tee-times. Shop ok. Lunch kun je in de golf clubhouse gebruiken. Hotel was eenvoudiger. Medewerkers wel attent. Wij moesten bv. de eigen spullen verslepen. Koffers, golftassen.
